About SubmarineGuide

SubmarineGuide lists submarines and submersibles you can actually ride: tourist submarines, deep-sea expeditions and private charters around the world.

How booking works

Browse the listings and compare locations, passenger capacity, prices when available, and the operator information linked in each listing. A starting price is a guide, not a confirmed quote. The price unit on the listing matters: a tour might be priced per person, while a charter might be priced per week.

Listings with a booking link

“Check prices” takes you to a booking partner; “Visit operator” takes you to the operator's website. Check the date, departure point, total price, and cancellation terms there before booking. Booking and payment happen with that provider, not on SubmarineGuide.

Listings with “Request charter”

For private charters and some expeditions, this button sends your plans to the SubmarineGuide team. We'll review the request, check with the operator, and follow up by email. The operator confirms availability, itinerary and terms before any booking. Sending a request does not reserve a submarine or commit you to a purchase.

Where the information comes from

Each listing is built from the operator's own published information, and we link the sources we used on every listing. When a detail isn't known, we leave it blank rather than guess.

Before you book

Prices, schedules and availability change often, so always confirm the details with the operator or booking partner before you book.

Our submarine tour cost guide explains price units, published fare examples and what to ask before requesting a private charter.

Planning your first submarine experience

Which kind of experience should I choose?

Start with submarine tours if you want a scheduled excursion during a holiday. For a trip built around underwater exploration, compare expeditions and check the full itinerary. For an experience arranged around your own dates and group, explore private charters and ask for a quote covering the complete operating plan.

Will the trip reach the submarine's maximum depth?

A vessel's maximum depth is a specification, not a promised itinerary. Ask the provider for the planned dive depth, time underwater and total visit duration for the exact experience you are booking. Likewise, passenger capacity describes the vessel; it does not show how many seats are still available on your date.

Can children join, and how does boarding work?

Check the provider's age and height requirements for every passenger before paying. Ask how you reach the submarine and whether boarding involves a boat transfer, steps or a ladder. If anyone in your party needs assistance, ask the operator about the complete boarding route and available arrangements before choosing a trip. A missing accessibility detail on a listing means we haven't confirmed it.

What should I confirm before booking?

Confirm the departure point, check-in time, total price, included transfers and cancellation deadline. Ask what happens if conditions prevent the dive, and whether the provider offers a refund or a different date. For a cruise-based experience, confirm that the submarine excursion is offered on your specific sailing and whether it costs extra.

Browse destination guides for local departure areas and comparisons, then open the listing for its booking link and sources.

How the site is funded

Some booking links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you book through them. It doesn't change the price you pay. For private charters, you can send a request through the site and we'll pass it on.
